Harold Mareno Jacobsen's Obituary
Harold M. Jacobsen Died June 17, 2008 at home, peacefully, among family and friends. Born September 26, 1927 in Tacoma, WA, where he grew up, married, and had three sons. His working life included a tour in the US Navy and working for the US government for over 30 years in the states of Washington, Michigan and Virginia. After retirement he returned to his birthplace and did volunteer work, assisting residents of Tacoma, WA. Survived by his wife of 55 years Chirste, sons Chris and wife Sandy of Troy, MI, Paul and wife Heidi of Tacoma, WA, Gene and wife Tammy of Clifton, VA, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his brother Robert Jacobsen of Tacoma, WA. Services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA. Viewing will be held Friday, June 20th from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Funeral service on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM with a reception to follow. Memorials may be made to Bethany Open Bible Church in Tacoma, WA.
