I first met Jeff when I was just a kid, 21 or so. We became friends, and worked together on framing projects.
Jeff had a knack for helping people, it seemed to be a mixture of wisdom, skill, and humor.
He never preached or lectured, he taught by example, and he did that very well.
He gave me the vision to make something out of myself.
He was honest, upright, and above al, had a fine heart.

Harold Jeffry Kapphahn, known as Jeff was born in Tacoma on May 27 1940 to Harold and Alice (Chrestenson) Kapphahn, the oldest of five children. He spent most of his life in Pierce County where he died on August 23 2023. Jeff was a skilled carpenter and taught many family and friends some of those skills. Jeff was available and willing to help people on many occasions.
