Hi Joe,
For some reason this morning, I found myself thinking of your dad. I googled and found out he passed away early this year. I am so sorry for your loss, and remember how keenly you were there for me when Mom died in 1996. I wish we had been in touch so that I could have supported you. As I look back on our youth, you and your dad are remembered as really big parts of my life. Your Dad let me practice with the two of you, something my Dad was not gifted at. Your Dad also inspired me to physical fitness by his life -- his running, walking, biking. He knew how important that was and managed to make time for it even when it was not so popular. He was also a man of very high values and morals and I respected him a lot, even when you and he were struggling with one another (in your teens). From the obituary, it sounds like he had a long and full life. what a blessing from god. We also know that he is new again in heaven.
