Harold H. Henderson's Obituary
Harold H. Henderson Harold Hawkins "Hank" Henderson was born on November 29, 1925 in South Carolina. He entered the United States Army in 1943 and moved through the ranks to become a Command Sgt. Major. He married Charlotte E. "Chick" Maloney and had eight children. After 24 years in the military, he worked for Metropolitan Insurance Company and then became the Executive for Human Resources for Civilian Employees at Fort Lewis until he retired in 1998. At the time of his death he was married to his longtime sweetheart, Jossie Collins. He is survived by his wife, Jossie Collins Henderson, his sons, sons-in-law, daughters, and daughters-in-law Butch and Marilyn Henderson, Akua Henderson-Brown and Carlton Brown, Barbara Henderson, Tony and April Henderson, and Stephanie Henderson, and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and loved ones. Harold's Homegoing Service will be on Thursday, May 22, at 11 AM at the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Cemetery, followed by a reception. Viewing will be Wednesday, May 21 from 2-6 PM at Mountain View. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. Remembrances may be shared at www.mountainviewtacoma.com.
