Harold George Lumley's Obituary
Harold George LumleyÂ"LumpyÂ"Harold lived lifeÂ's adventures to the fullest until he was unexpectedly taken from us on February 26, 2004. Born in Vancouver, Canada on April 3, 1947 to Florence and George, he was then raised in California. Harold served in the Vietnam War, where thankfully the only thing he shot was a water buffalo. A confirmed bachelor until the age of 39 when he married the love of his life, Andrea. They moved to Tacoma in 1990, where his joy of life was shared with everyone he knew. Harold retired from Qwest with 30 years of service and went on to further his education in the IT field. An avid world traveler, he found humor in everything. HaroldÂ's love of life made him a joy to all he knew. Harold will be loved and missed by the many people whose lives he touched, including Molly his cat and her 20 lbs of love. Please come and share memories with family and friends of the man who was loved by all at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 in the Mt. View Celebration of Life Building. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christopher Reeve Foundation to help advance the research of spinal cord injuries.
