We met in 1985 when my family bought our first home on G St. I will remember his kindness to my family and how he always kept an eye on the neighborhood. He was a wonderful neighbor and a caring man who we remember with great fondness.##imported-begin##pat##imported-end##
Have known Harold since 1945. Can't recall a time when I saw him without a smile. The father of one of my very best friends, he was always there to help or to give advise. Danny & Judy and family: I was saddened to hear of the loss of your father. We were your backdoor neighbors from 1948 to about 1963. There was always an open door policy between us. I remember too, staying with your family when Mom had errands to run or a meeting to attend. I always chuckled at Harold's contagious laugh. He was always willing and available to help out a neighbor. As I recall from my childhood days, he was also great at fixing cars. I visited with Harold in the late 90's where he again was Mom & Dad's neighbor at the Trailer Park. He seemed a happy and content person and we talked a bit of the old neighborhood and how we now both enjoy going south for the winters to warmer weather. I'll always remember him and your family.
