Harold Bradford, age 90, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and quiet joy in life’s simple pleasures.
Born to Artis Bradford and Georgia Lee Bradford, who was born on May 5, 1935, in Gilmer, Texas, Harold was raised with strong values of family, loyalty, and hard work. He carried those values throughout his life, remaining a devoted son and a loyal brother.
Harold proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Army, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and honor. Following his military service, he continued to serve his community through 18 dedicated years with the United States Postal Service, where he was known for his reliability and friendly spirit.
Outside of his work and service, Harold found happiness in the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman who cherished time spent by the water, and he enjoyed the camaraderie and challenge of bowling—highlighted by the remarkable achievement of bowling a perfect 300 game.
Harold is survived by his loving wife, Maggie; his brother, Richard; and his sister, Ruth. He also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will remember him with love and respect.
Harold will be remembered for his steadfast character, his dedication to those he loved, and the simple, meaningful life he lived. His memory will be carried forward by all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed.
