I first met Harold back in 1987 when I came to work for the Employment Security Department as a DVOP(Disabled Veteran Outreach Program)stationed at Belltown Satlelite office downtown Seattle. If I had any questions about the Veteran program I could always call on Harold for help.##imported-begin##David Mallory##imported-end##
Harold hired me as a Work Study back in 1993. He believed in a fair day's work for a fair day's wages. So you worked and if you were interested he taught you well. Later I was able to take that learning and experience to start my current career as a DVOP. It all goes back to the foundation Harold laid while I worked as a Work Study while going to college. Having been a food inspector in the Army, this was a completely new career field for me. Thanks Harold for showing me a new path and direction in life. You were one of those people in my life that I will never forget and therefore you will live on. The Veterans in Washington State are much better off having had Harold as a prime mover in the vanguard for Veterans. It was both an honor and a pleasure to have known and worked with Harold over the years.

Worked with Harold as a Veterans services representive at the Lakewood Employment Office.
