Hans G. Kaman's Obituary
Hans G. Kaman 1/21/1920 ~ 5/13/2008 Hans passed away at Park Rose Care Center on Tuesday, May 13, at the age of 88. He was married to Helen, who preceded him in death in 1999, and the father of Sandra Hall, Kristine Bridges, and Ronald (Lynne), grandfather of five and great grandfather of nine. Hans was born in Brunswick, Germany on January 21, 1920 and emigrated to America with his parents, Karl and Bertha, in 1923 at the age of three. They all subsequently became citizens and Hans graduated from Stadium High School. He served his country proudly in the army during World War II. He was a long term member of the Cement Masons and Plasterers Local 528. Hans retired from the plastering trade in 1982 at the age of 62 after a long and rewarding career. He had worked all over Washington State and beyond and made many friends in his work. Hans was a good husband and father, providing for his family in good times and bad. He is loved and missed. Friends and relatives can celebrate Hans' life at Ron's house, 6846 No. 11th St., Tacoma, on Saturday, May 17, at 2 pm.
