Hallene (White) Walker
Born October 30, 1923, in Seattle, WA, she passed away peacefully at Mother Joseph Care Center on July 25, 2011, at the age of 87.
A law clerk for Tacoma Municipal Court, and a legal secretary for a private attorney, she was very active. She exhibited oil paintings at the Western Washington Fair. She "painted" seasonally with flowers in her garden. Living the last 25 years in Yelm, she walked up to three miles a day, and was driving her car up until the latest illness took her from us.
She is survived by a sister, Marie, and a brother, Les, both living in Tacoma, a son, Dean, in Lacey and daughter, Ginelle, living in McKenna. There are four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She will be missed.
A memorial service will be celebrated Thursday, August 4, 2011, 11 AM at Mt. View Funeral Home.
