I'm Hollie, moms daughter. Mom was a great person. She was always trying to help people, even if they did not care about her. Mom always got me stuff, even if I did not deserve it. I could have just gotten in trouble and we would go out and she would buy me a candy bar or Wendy's. From the moment I first came into the family 13 years ago, Mom always taught me how to act and how to behave and how to cook and she helped me in many ways. When I came to her bald, the doctors said that my hair would never grow but Mom worked and tried many things and now I have a head full of hair because of her. Mom always was cooking and she was always teaching me her recipes and giving me cooking tips even if most of them did not stick. I loved my mom and I wish that I had shown more of that love. I love you mom and I miss you but I know that you are in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Gwen was a great friend of my late Mother Mary Ann Suggs James! I was very young when her and her beautiful family moved away, but I never forgot her! Her smile and voice were absolutely beautiful! Gwen and my Mother shared a long Holy friendship until my Mother was called home in 2002! I will continue to keep her family lifted in prayer! Heaven has definitely gained another Precious Gem!

My Memories of Moon is she was the sweetest person you ever wanted to meet my brother Harold passed December 23rd and after his service she would call and say I got to check on my elder Gwen had a beauty shop and this guy name Lee Roy use to be a the shop everyday going getting the ladies food and drinks one day Lee Roy bought Odell & Gwen Kids a watermelon bro Danny cut that watermelon 🍉 Leroy told bro Danny come home get on your knees hold your hands up and don't say a word and started speaking in tongues over Danny my boy Desmond Odell sold candy I bought a sack I was 2 pennies short and my baby wouldn't let me get the candy.Ms Sommer Gwen laught about this all the time I was a school crossing guard on the way home from school Sommer was in elementary school she told Gwen look at her she thinks she's the police 🚓 her ain't no police her don't even have a gun 😅😀 Mr K Kevin flew to Arkansas to be apart of my wedding and Odell and Gwen flew me to Washington he and his wife carried me Gwen & Odell and his beautiful to breakfast and I got a chance to meet my nieces and 💝 Ashley I got a chance to fall in love with Ms ora smart beautiful baby call Gwen everyday to check on her I was getting up every morning and kissing on her picture on my refrigerator 💯 Travis and Courtney my Handsome nephews I love 💕 y'all very much 👍🏾 my girl holly every morning and night she came in my room Tee Tee my mom say what do you want to she serve me in bed💘 last but not least my brother in law Odell man besides GOD you were the best person that ever happened to Gwen and I know you both loved and protected taken care of each other y'all I got many jokes and old saying that she wanted me to write down and sent them to her so she can share them with you all one of them is it's a dead cat on the line that means something wrong and and another is if I tell you a rooster dip snuff raise up his wings and see don't you see the box that means it true Odell and Gwen paid for my house We was raised in the house 🏠 together and when they moved to Washington out of all of our family members she and I always stayed in contact with each other I love my Cousin/Sister and Odell is my brother I have so many memories of her that I can tell you all about she use to tell me Hannah you had them but Wayne & Shun diva is my children and she and flew them and my Mom to Washington again she wasn't my cousin but my sister🙏🏾 Gwen I thought that we would see forever but forever has gone away it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday I love you Moon forever 🌙 The Duchess💔👋🏾
I love you sister lm going to miss our conversation praying and reading scripture together. You were so amazing and you made sure we shared love together before you went to Heaven. Words could never express how genuine loving compassionate you were. Thank you for all you've been all my life.
