Gwendolyn Mae Smith's Obituary
On April 21, 2013 we lost Gwendolyn May Smith far too soon. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Gwen will always be remembered for her love of life and shear spunkiness. She was always ready for an adventure and to enjoy good company. Even dealing bravely with a long and severe illness, she brought a contagious energy to any room. Gwen was a constant partner and loving companion to her husband Kenneth for over 53 years. Together they built a life together that touched friends and family alike with their big hearts and kindness.
Gwen is survived by her daughter, DeLaine S. Emmert and son-in-law, Mark Emmert, their children, Steve Emmert and Jennifer Emmert-Evans, grand-daughter-in-law, Sarah Emmert and grandson-in-law Joshua Evans, as well as by great grandchildren Eleanor and Cameron Emmert.
Funeral services are to be held Saturday, April 27th, 2013, at 2:30 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA.
