Gwen E. (McCrimmon) Leslie DiLoreto, 1936 - 2016
On December 13, 2016, our beloved mother lost her battle with cancer. Gwen was born September 12, 1936 in Tacoma. Graduate of Lincoln High School, 1954. Gwen retired from the Pacific Lutheran University business office in 1997. She had a successful career in accounting as well as her own income tax business for thirty-seven years.
Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ethel McCrimmon, and late husband, Albert DiLoreto.
Gwen is survived by her brother Robert McCrimmon (Joan), son Russell Leslie (Denise); daughters Vicki Moore (Doug), Christine Leslie-Schneider. Grandchildren Morgan Moultine Bell ( Matt), Matthew Logie ( Julia), Rachel Otterstetter (Jeff), Michael Shafer ( Karina), Ryan Leslie, Tara Robinson ( Jeremy), James Shafer (Sammantha), Tessa Hansen (Skye), and Anthony Moore. Gwen has eight great grandchildren.
Mom was able to recently enjoy her 80th birthday with family and friends, she was active with the Lincoln High class of 54 reunion committee, and enjoyed playing bingo at BJ's. She became talented at quilting and we all have a quilt to cherish in her memory. She was a real family person and dedicated her life to helping Al, and all of the children.
