Greg C. Niesen's Obituary
Greg passed away August 15, 2005 in Tacoma, Washington at the age of 61. He graduated from the first class of Curtis High School in 1962, went on to complete 5 total years of college and served in the U.S. Army Reserves until 1970. Upon his dad's death, Greg owned South Tacoma National Auto Parts, starting there with his dad in 1959. He was a former member of Elks, BPOE #174 and South Sound 442 Club, and enjoyed traveling and cruising with friends in his Vette or '67 Olds.Greg was a loving father to his children Brett M. LaBissoniere (Tammy), Shannon M. Niesen, Marcey J. Niesen, and Dannielle L. Garcia (Jaime); and his grandchildren, Jacob Niesen, James Garcia, Brettaney and Michael LaBissoniere, and Coleman Younger. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Becky, his mother, Margaret Niesen, sister Dr. Lynn Witte, and numerous other relatives and friends.In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Greg's name to Hospice House in University Place or the Pierce County Humane Society. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Mt. View Valley Chapel.
