Remembering Grace,
We have many fond memories of family gatherings, when our children were small - camping trips at Mt. Rainier and the ocean, and picnics at Owen Beach. Fun times!
Grace was genuinely concerned about events in her niece and nephews' lives, and her brother Lloyd Sr.
Years ago she baked me some birthday cookies. When I got stuck on a sewing project, Grace showed me the way.
Thank you, Grace - we will always miss you. Earth is a little lonely without you.

I have fond childhood memories of Aunt Grace and my cousins, some of which were pivotal.
In recent years Sandra and I were privileged to have Aunt Grace in attendance at our daughters' weddings in Bellingham, Washington, in years 2000 and 2001.
On those occasions Aunt Grace spoke with me personally, of my father, of family stories only she would know.
In May 2004 she visited Dad at the family home and remained for dinner, where I had occasion to "draw her out" seated there next to her. Again the stories, quietly recounted, of family, explanations of the past, carefully told. She was mentally curious and fully engaged. Several times she erupted in full belly laughter, shaking in delight. The reserve barriers were down. We thought of images of a grand 1930's movie star. Grace was a woman who always greeted me with a smile and and a kiss. I will miss her sweet face and loving nature.
I have faith she is with her beloved Lloyd and they are with God in Heaven.
