To Grace's family,
I met Grace in Comforters and consider my life to have been so much richer by having known her. She was always so giving and caring and willing to share her knowledge and fabric with anyone. She had the most awesome eye for color, and her quilts always hung perfectly straight. We missed her and her family at Retreat, I hope you carry on her quilting legacy. She will always be remembered. Grace was a great inspiration to me. She encouraged me as a new quilter and continued to support my progress as I matured. We shared a love of plaids and patterns. Her eye for color and texture were incomparable. People who have received her quilts are very lucky! Grace was an important person in my own personal development. She was encouraging and honest, gentle with her criticism, and generous with her praise. She will be missed by many of us at the Puyallup Valley Quilters. I was a neighbor of Graces at Tall Firs and have many memories of our conversations on a walk around the park. We shared a common interest in gardening and she certainly had the best looking yard in the park. My condolences to the family and know that we thought the world of Grace.
