Grace Bredeson's Obituary
Grace Bredeson was born in Parkland on August 19, 1927, and while surrounded by loved ones, entered Heaven on December 10, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Sr., sons Brad, Jack Jr., Jerry, and Tom, her parents Rachel and Albert Arnestad, and siblings Maxine Hungerford, Maurie and Leo Arnestad, Toody Miller, and Beverly Bredeson. Grace is survived by sons Ron (Kim) and Curt (Tammie), daughters-in-law Diane, Linda, and Malinda Bredeson, and brothers Buster (Beverly) and Walt (Betty) Arnestad. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Grace attended Lincoln High School. She belonged to the Sons and Daughters of Norway and was fiercely proud of her Norwegian heritage. SHe was a proud member of VASA. She also participated in the yearly WA State Fair in Puyallup, working in the Arts Building and was a seasonal election worker for Pierce County. Grace and her family belonged to Redeemer Lutheran Church for more than 50 years, where she was very involved. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral services for Grace will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1001 Princeton St, Fircrest WA 98446. Prior to the services, viewing will be from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM. Graveside services will be at Mountain View Cemetery at 2:30 PM. Family and friends kindly invited.
