Gloria Angel Morgan's Obituary
Celebrating the life of Gloria Angel Morgan, given name at birth Juliana Mena Angel. Born December 6, 1921 in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Philippines. Peacefully passed away at the age of 94 on November 13, 2016. With her first husband, Eleuterio Sumandig she had 2 sons Benjamin and Geraldo. Eleuterio died serving his country in the Japanese war. She lived on the farm with most of her family, and after some time she later met and married an American soldier, Isam Morgan which brought her to Tacoma Washington. On July 1, 1952 she became a citizen of the US, traveled back to Philippines in 1954 to bring her sons to live with husband and step son Isam Jr. in Washington for many years. For over 30 years she was a seamstress at Ft. Lewis. Her past times were playing bingo, and crocheting. She had a strong heart, was a very caring, and generous person who loved her family. Survived by her son Geraldo Rody Sumandig and wife Herta along with her grandchildren and thier spouses and great great children listed: Rody Jr & Angela; Alika, Kai & Alysha, Regina & Vince; Justina & Kyle; Great Great grandchild Reigna, Isabelle, Haley & Jessica, Rita & Ron; Stephanie & Michelle, Lisa & Rick; Madison, Brenda & Steve; Tim & Keith, Justin & Courtney; Neveah, Paityn, Jordan Steve Jr. & Erika; Kaitlyn & Nicholas, Dan & Melissa; Kindra, Jerika & Daniel, and Mike & Marguee, Beloved son Benjamin & Sylvia granchildren Jerry & wife and Benny & Diana; Akaiyasia, Bryonna And Many other relatives and family.
Services at Mountain View Funeral home. Viewing on Friday from 2-7pm 11/18/16 and Saturday at 10:30. Funeral service at 11:30 in the Garden Chapel, burial at 1 and reception immediately following at the Willow room in Celebration of Life Center.
