Gloria Mary Hurst
August 5, 1930 - October 11, 2009.
Born in London, England, Gloria was English to the bone. From her cross-Atlantic boat ride on the "Queen Mary" from England, to her final days in Lakewood, WA, Gloria led a life rich with experiences. She loved to garden, chat with friends, and sing. Her husband John Hurst, son James Davis, granddaughter Jennie Davis, sisters Angela and Eunice, and countless others who have been touched by her laughter, songs, and eternal kindness will never forget her. A service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 12pm in the Garden Chapel, followed by a toast to her life at her family home in Lakewood.
