Gloria D. Rogers' Obituary
Gloria Dean Rogers was born, LIVED, died and touched thousands of lives through her humor, courage, kindness and love. Gloria went home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 3, 2010. She is survived by her husband George C. Rogers Sr., daughters Georgina Harris, Deborah Johnson, son George C. Rogers Jr., daughters-in-law Sue and Pam Rogers and sons-in-law Terry Harris and Clarence Johnson. She leaves nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Gloria was a retired school teacher and an active member of Tacoma Christian Center where she loved serving with her friends in the "Women of Virtue" Ministry. Gloria was best known for her ability to quickly "know" people, her quick wit and her "Keepin It Real" attitude. We will all miss her! "Celebration of Life" services will be held at noon, on Saturday, January 9th at Tacoma Christian Center, 3507 E. McKinley Ave.
