You children may not know who I am,Leah Lawrence Gatlin. I was born in the Holt house, and mary was my grandma's best friend, Janetta my mom's best friend. We lived next door to the Lees 9 years. Although Gloria was some older than me I of course knew her and went to the same church growing up. I enjoyed her bubbly, joking ways! She will be missed, but joining many loved ones now.
If you visit your grandparents graves, I am the one who puts swags on their graves each year. They were all a big part of my early years. May God give you peace and comfort. Love, Leah

(Maybe we were related as my maiden name is Holt). Gloria used to sit in front of us at Church and would always smile and have a kind word. She is missed, but we will always have the memory of her smiling face..I can see it now in my mind. Rest well dear lady. You are missed but not forgotten. What a well written obituary.. Well done girls. I did not know that Gloria worked with wood. Wish I would have know , as I am a wood worker too.
How sweet for you to know where she is. And to know you all will be together again.
