Glenna May Rudolph's Obituary
Glenna May Robinson was born April 22, 1920 at Burton, Vashon Island, Washington to Ozella Jane Robinson and Arthur Charles Robinson. Ozella and Arthur were living in Skagway, Alaska. Ozella came back to her family home at Burton for the delivery of her first born, Glenna.
Although Glenna spent most of her life in the "States", she loved Alaska and kept in contact with many friends there.
Glenna raised her seven sons Alan, Earl, Jim, Dan Bacon, Lee Mattos, and Dennis and Chuck Rudolph while living on McKinley hill in Tacoma.
Her outgoing personality helped her become an active member of the McKinley Hill Boosters. She volunteered for many community projects with her many friends.
McKinley Hill Library was one of her favorite spots. She was an avid reader and kept records of all the authors and books she had read.
She was a real "Recycling Pioneer". Come rain or shine she was always out on her route talking to her friends and collecting aluminum. She would always stop at "Fergies" and visit people there.
After a stroke in 2001, she resided at Cascade Park Gardens, an assisted living facility.
She will remain in our hearts and prayers.
