Glenn Thomas Smith's Obituary
Glenn Smith passed away peacefully on Jun 7th at the age of 81 with his wife Mary Kay by his side. He was called Cub by his friends and family; a name given to him by his father. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Kay, sister Donna Miller – husband Jack, and six children, Don Smith -wife Paula, Tim Smith - wife Maria, Tina Jones, Cheryl Smith – husband Gary, Nelda Smith, and Amber Hanson – husband Daryl, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many more family and friends.
Cub was born on December 13, 1934 in Tacoma, WA. And lived here most of his life. He was a plumber, and learned his trade from his father. Ace Plumbing was the name of his company, and many of his customers became his friends.
He was a founding member and Exalted Ruler of the Lakewood Elks. He was also a member of the Eagles and Moose. His later years were involved with the Masons, Scottish Rite and Afifi Shrine. He enjoyed being a Shrine clown and participating in parades, parties, and trips to the Shriners Hospital in Portland.
Per his request, there will be no service. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
