Glenn Medlin's Obituary
Glenn "Popeye" Medlin
Beloved husband of Marie went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2009, after a sudden illness. He was a quiet and gentle man, loved by all who met him. He served in the army during the Korean War and retired from Weyerhaeuser. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Clyde, and his stepdaughter Yvette. He is also survived by sons Mark (Dani), Matthew (Bobbi), stepson Scott and large extended family. He will be really missed by all, especially his buddy Quentin. Glenn leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The family would like to thank the cardiac staff at St. Joe's and University of WA hospitals for their care and compassion during Glenn's stay. There will be a Celebration of Life on July 20, at Bethany Baptist Church, 713 South Hill Park Dr., Puyallup at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma.
