Glenn Ivar Berge's Obituary
Our dearest friend, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went home to be with his Lord on February 9, 2006, at the age of 85. Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie; their two children, Virginia Moor and her husband David, and Marilynn Jovanovich and her husband Jim; his grandchildren, Carrie Moor Gustafson, and her husband Paul, Jonathan Moor and his wife Jamaica, Benjamin Moor, Megan and Peter Jovanovich; his great grandchildren Andrew and David Gustafson.Glenn graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington and served his country in the US Army Signal Corps during WW II.Glenn held a BachelorÂ's degree in Economics and Business from the University of Washington and worked for the Boeing Company in management and accounting for 36 years, retiring in 1986.Viewing will be held from 1 PM until 9 PM, Friday, February 17th at the Mountain View Funeral Home 4100 Steilacoom Blvd., SW Tacoma. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, February 18 at Grace Baptist Church, 10323 28th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA.Glenn was a dedicated family man who will be held close in our hearts and remembered for his encouraging support of each family member, and his desire that we all Â"serve the Lord, all our daysÂ".
