Gladys D. Duncan's Obituary
Gladys Duncan died Oct.17 at the age of 86 from natural causes. She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent.Born in Hampdon,North Dakota to Samuel and Clara Olson on March 27th 1929. The family moved to Tacoma in1941. Gladys leaves behind her 3 children, Sandra Fish,U.P., Diane Ryan(Stephen Cary)Sandpoint,Id and Bill Meier(Julie) of Lakewood, grandchildren, Autumn, Jeremy, Kirstina, great grandson, Jackson, sisters Esther, Evelyn , brother Bob and many nieces and nephews.
Gladys, known to her friends and family as Glady, always wore a big smile and many will remember her from the Lucky Store on 25th and Proctor where she was a grocery checker for several years. She loved the holidays and did she ever decorate for all of them. Her home was always adored with the latest decorations from Michael's. Growing up at our house meant there was always a fresh supply of home made cookies, cake and cinnamon rolls. She inspired many to enjoy cooking and baking! She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct.24, at 10AM Mountain View Funeral Home Aspen Chapel. A Reception will following.
