Linda and Mike,
Unfortunately, Colleen and I just learned of the passing of your mother, otherwise we would have attended the service. We are so very sorry for your loss.
I remember meeting your mother in the early 1970s. If memory serves, it was 1973. I had met you Linda and we became fast friends. You invited me to your family home where I met both of your parents and Mike. Everyone was so very kind to me but I remember specifically your mother being especially lovely. Be mindful that 1973 was only a few years after the peak of the civil rights movement. Being so very warmly accepted into your home by your mother was monumental to me. It is a memory that I have never forgotten.
I love you both dearly and truly miss you Mike. I see Linda from time to time when I accompany Colleen to her dental appointments.
