Ginger K. Dillman's Obituary
Ginger Kay Dillman Ginger passed away February 21, 2012 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Ginger was born on May 5, 1946 to Rudy and Janelle Valor in Tacoma, Washington. Growing up, she developed a love for sports and enjoyed spending time with her family at Spanaway Lake. She was a graduate of Bethel High School, and after graduating from Central Washington State College she began teaching P.E. at Ford Junior High. Ginger was married to Louis A. Dillman on July 10, 1971, and they set off on many adventures before starting a family. After staying home with her children, Ginger started working at Safeway. She eventually became the Customer Service Manager before retiring in 2007. Ginger had many interests, including playing sports and games, collecting bears, and going to the casino. Ginger is survived by her daughters Tiffany Dillman and Tami (Greg) Martin, her sister Sandie (Jim) Morrison, her sister-in-law Lucy Dillman, nephews Mike Grosvenor and Jim Grosvenor, and granddaughters Avery and Carly Martin. A celebration of Ginger's life will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 1:00pm in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel with a reception immediately following.
