Ochoa, Gina's Obituary
Gina Angela Ochoa, born on April 3, 1985, in Waukegan, Illinois, passed away on January 11, 2025. She was the cherished daughter of Rick and Audrey Ochoa of Kenosha, Wisconsin. A graduate of Warren Township High School in 2003, Gina was known for her vibrant personality and boundless creativity. From the age of one, she embraced her role as the family comedienne, bringing joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her radiant smile, quick wit, and playful spirit could light up any room.
Gina’s artistic talents were a profound expression of her love for those around her. An avid painter, illustrator, and collage artist, she left behind a legacy of handwritten notes and artwork that will forever serve as a testament to her deep affection for family and friends. Her creativity and kindness touched many lives, and she was a loving and accepting friend to many who crossed her path.
Gina is survived by her parents; her brother Nathan Ochoa (Amy) of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois; her sister Lea Webb (Matthew) of Kenosha, Wisconsin; and six beloved nieces whom she adored: Julia Ochoa (20), Anabelle Ochoa (17), Shiloh Webb (16), Chloe Webb (14), Lorelei Ochoa (13), and Isla Ochoa (10). She shared a special bond with her nieces as their devoted pen-pal and confidante. She is also survived by grandparents, Ignacio and JoAnn Ochoa of Waukegan, IL and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, whose support and comforting words have been a source of strength for the immediate family.
Gina was preceded in death by grandparents Nancy Ochoa, of Gurnee, IL and Angel and Julia Cuevas, of Beach Park, IL.
"Gina Bina's" memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May her laughter and creativity continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
