Gilbert George Anderson's Obituary
Gilbert Anderson born May 3, 1915 in Redondo, Wa, this gentle giant of a man who rolled with General Patton in Africa and General Clark in Italy during WWII, passed away July 17, 2008. After an honorable discharge, he worked for and retired from The Logistics Center/Tank Maintenance. A true American Patriot, he epitomized the best in soul and spirit. This kind, honorable, gentle man will be deeply missed by his family: Carol June Quist, sons Bobby, Carl and Tony; Loralee and Charles DeShazor, son Cliff; Michael and Wendy McCurley, daughter Corey and husband Rich and all who knew him. For to know Uncle George was to love him. Service will be held 11am, Monday, July 21st in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral home. Following service interment at Mt. View Cemetery in Auburn.
