Gil Soriano David's Obituary
Gil "Papa" Soriano David, 57, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away on December 16, 2023. He was born on March 20, 1966, in Pampanga, Philippines. Gil will be remembered as the funny and goofy uncle, a handyman, and a jack of all trades. He had a passion for basketball and was an avid spectator of various sports, particularly rooting for the Seattle Seahawks. Gil also enjoyed participating in a bowling league, playing tennis, and running 5Ks. He had a knack for fixing things and was an amateur mechanic.
Gil is survived by his loving wife, Jemma David, his son Gerald David, his daughter Jill-Anne Pulig, his son in-law Ethan Pulig and granddaughter Isla Rose Pulig. He was preceded in death by his daughter Janine David, his father Felix David and his mother Agueda David.
Gil had a fulfilling career as a forklift operator. He was a dedicated and hardworking individual who took pride in his work.
A ceremony to celebrate Gil's life will be held at 10:00 AM at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA. The funeral home assisting with the arrangements is Mountain View Memorial Park.
In honoring Gil's faith, he worshiped in the Iglesia ni Cristo, Church of Christ.
