Gertrude Robinson's Obituary
Gertrude Marie (Trudy) Robinson was born in Yakima, WA on August 19, 1923. She passed away April 18, 2012. Trudy attended Aquinas Academy in Tacoma, WA. She married the love of her life, First Lt. Ralph R. Robinson, September 4, 1943. Their life together spanned 60 years. Trudy was born the second daughter of Lula and Bill van Well. Her siblings, all of whom preceded her in death, included Catherine Arsenault, Bob van Well, and Margorie Hudson. She is survived by her two daughters, Georgia Robinson and Becki (John) Collins, four grandsons, Kurt (Crys) Kazda, John Kazda, Chad (Kris) Collins, and Craig (Kelly) Collins, five great-grandchildren, Jason Forman, Luke and Katie Collins, Caden and Michael Collins, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Trudy was a loving and caring wife, mother and hostess. She enjoyed golf, bridge and being with her family and friends. She will truly be missed. The family would like to thank Clare Bridge Dementia Center in Puyallup for their loving care of Trudy. Donations in Trudy's name can be made to your local fund for the cure of Alzheimer's. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 28th, 2012 at the Mountain View Garden Chapel at 2:30. An interment will precede.
