Gertrude passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2015 at the age of 99. She was born on October 7, 1915 in Carpio, North Dakota to Nelse and Christine Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin, and sons Roger and Jeff. She is survived by son Ole John Lervold, daughters Alice Tjelde, Donna Dyer (Ron), Janet Baldridge (Bob) Lois Chelini (Ken),
Marjie Schulze (Doug) and Dianne Stanford (Mel) and 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren,
12 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great grandchild. Granny Gert will be best remembered for her deep religious beliefs, her loving, nurturing care of her family and friends, her gentle giving and caring to every life she touched as well as her beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by many!
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to Spanaway Lutheran Church in honor of Gertrude's faithful membership of 50 years.
