Gerard "Junior" Ruvo Jr.'s Obituary
Gerard Ruvo "Junior" 2/21/29 4/11/2018
So where do we begin, first of all he was the best uncle in the world. He made us all laugh with his jokes. We loved the buttered noodles he would cook for us when he was our babysitter. Junior was definitely an original that no one could ever be a close second to. He loved baseball, especially the Tacoma Rainiers and the Chicago Cubs. He loved watching Gene Autry, the Lone Ranger, the 3 Stooges, Shirley Temple, All My Children, Little House on the Prairie and the nightly news also faithfully watched the Ten Commandments, Miracle on 34th Street, and It's a Wonderful Life. He loved listening to country music and sang along with Gene Autry (his favorite), songs including "You're in the Jailhouse Now", etc. He didn't go to school but was smart in his own way. He loved children and watching them grow up. Wellthere's a lot more we could say about him but all I know is the world needs more "Uncle Juniors". What a gift he was to us. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, his brother-in-law Vaughn Williamson and Gary Alexander along with Junior's pet Honey Bear III. He now resides with his Heavenly family: Mom and Dad Jerry and Crim Ruvo, sisters Annette, Dorothy, Theresa, Darlene and his pal great nephew Taylor Ferris. In lieu of funeral services, all are invited to his home to share a spaghetti dinner and memories on Saturday, April 28th from 1pm. Contact Donna or Deanie for details.
