Geraldine (Jean) Frances Thomas' Obituary
Geraldine Frances (Jean) was born 2/19/1930 in Flint Michigan to her parents Charles and Mazie Campbell. She attended Flint Technical High School. Jean met and married Lt. Raymond Thomas June 1952 and became a military wife until 1955. She became a wonderful, supportive, loving civilian wife and mother in the move back to Flint MI.
In 1959 the family moved to California and from that point on she became an “Aerospace Gipsy” with the family as Ray moved in the aero-space industry. She contended beautifully with the varied challenges of raising a family while creating a loving home.
The family finally found our present address in WA was a desirable place to settle down. In WA she worked for Puget Sound/Key Bank, enjoying the work thoroughly for 15 years until her retirement. Jean also loved bowling and was active in leagues at Seacoma Lanes for many years.
Jean suffered a stroke in December 2022 and succumbed on 5 March 2023. She was in Home Hospice and was cared for by her family members. Her death was peaceful. She will be fondly remembered and much missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as by friends, fellow workers and her husband.
