Geraldine M. Achziger's Obituary
Gerry Achziger Went home to God on Friday, January 4th, 2013 from complications of Alzheimer's. She was born in Sacramento, California on January 2, 1932 to Ella and Jack Cruise. She was married to her loving husband Aaron for 63 years. Gerry is also survived by her four daughters, Judy Baker, Paula Rogers, Linda Whitaker and Janis Kilcup and their husbands and families.
She enjoyed a long, respected career at Washington Natural Gas Company and was especially proud of her service as Lady Gerry when Aaron was elected Sir Boss of the Daffodilians. A gifted singer, a fabulous baker and cook, and the smartest woman we knew, she will be remembered for her love of family, compassion and tender heart...she was the glue that held us all together. Mom... we miss you already. A memorial service for Gerry will be held at Fircrest United Methodist Church on Friday, January 11th at 1:00pm.
Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
