Gerald Arthur Granai's Obituary
Gerald Arthur Granai (Aka Jerry and/or George), 69, passed away peacefully October 5, 2025.
A long time resident of Parkland, WA, he was born in Amityville, NY on March 8, 1956 to Elizabeth Busch and Joseph Granai. After living in NY for a time they moved to Johnson City TN when he was a boy where he resided until leaving for the Army in 1974. He proudly served in the US Army for 23 years and was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He also worked at Paradise Bowl and a small handful of other jobs before retiring.
“George” was a man of many talents. He could build and fix computers, build and fix cars, was a handyman of all kinds, could tell jokes and be the life of the party. He loved playing his 12 string guitar and could sing just as good. He found a love for dogs when his beloved Sandy came into his life followed by Reece, and then Cashew.
Preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Michael aka Mickey.
He is survived by his wife Terisa, his daughters Abbigail (Joe) and Molly (Amador), his bonus children Sean (Lacey), Colleen (Jose), and Thomas (Megan), his brothers David (Bill), Bobby, Jimi, his 27 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
