Gerald E. Tikal's Obituary
Dad passed away Easter Sunday. He was born June 7th 1920 in Lacrosse Wisconsin. Dad served 30 yrs in the United States Air Force which included England and Greenland, and after retiring from the Air Force continued to work at McChord AFB for the Civil Service Department an additional 11 yrs. He served during WW II, the Korean War and the Viet Nam Wars. He was very proud to serve his Country and would be the first to tell you.
Dad was preceded in death by Mom, (Maggie), they were married 65 yrs. He is survived by a sister, Carol Bremburger of Wisconsin, daughters, Jackie Hart of Tacoma, Jeri Wright of Puyallup and Granddaughter Tiffany Wright of Gig Harbor. We will miss Dad and Grampa very much.
Private services were held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wa. We would like to thank Heartwood Nursing Home of Tacoma for their loving kindness and excellent care.
