Hi my name is Rebecca, you dont know me but I just wanted to offer my sincere condolence over the loss of your loved one. It's so hard to lose the ones we love, I know that first hand. What has helped me get through rough times like these is comforting scriptures. I would like to share them with you. One is found at John 5:28 and the first part of verse 29. It states, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voiced and come on out. Isn't that an encouraging scripture that we have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones again?
The other scripture I wanted to share with you is Revelation 21:4.
It says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." I love this scripture so much and have read it more than I can count. Can you imagine a time when death and pain will be no more? That is a promise from our creator. We soon will no longer have to worry about dying ourselves or losing those we love in death. I just wanted to share these thoughts with you and hope they have given you some comfort. I hope you are surrounded by friends and family during this most difficult time. I found only time can help ease some of the pain.
With sympathy
