I first met Georgia in 1976 as a JTPA youth worker for the Puyallup Tribal Law Office. At that time I didn't know what a great friendship that would develope. Throughout the years we kept in contact. She always ended her sentences with a laugh, she had a wit about her and was one of the most intelligent and ahead of her time woman I knew. I will miss our lunches and talks. She was a great example of a dedicated and hard worker, inspiring many people.
You had the green thumb I always envied, no one I knew could grow an African Violet like you.
Good friends are hard to find, but great friends are almost impossible. Thank you Georgia for always listening, for your wisdom and strength, but most of all your laughter and smile! I will truly miss you! Benita
