Georgia Clark Fischlin's Obituary
Georgia C. Fischlin, age 82, passed away with family by her side December 14, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington. She was born on December 29, 1939, in Britton, South Dakota to George R and Angeline L (McGraw) Clark. She was a 1958 graduate of Lincoln High School in Seattle, Washington, 1961 graduated of St. Joseph Nursing training, Army nurse 2nd Lieutenant and graduate from Fort Sam, Houston, Texas Service School Brooke Army Medical Center, Army nurse 1961 - 1965, 1972 graduate University of Puget Sound with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, L.H. Bate Vocational Technical Institute parenting award 1979. She married Frank M. Fischlin on November 26, 1966, in Fife, Washington at St. Martin of Tours church. She worked as nurse in the operating room at Swedish Hospital and Tacoma General Hospital from 1965 - 1974 she displayed love and compassion for others and truly has a charismatic smile and personality for life. Along with her zest for life enjoying traveling, skiing, boating, camping, fishing, sewing, arts and crafts, holidays, fashion, reading, family, Brown and Haley chocolates, and homemade fudge. Georgia was the youngest of three daughters and is survived by her sister Carol and preceded in death by her sister Linda. All three sisters Carol, Linda, and Georgia were devout to their loved ones and were always loving and encouraging to all. Georgia with her nurturing and caring nature also wanted to be a mother, Georgia and Frank adopted two boys, David 1974, Patrick 1977 she put her heart and soul into her family and in doing so her heart was filled with happiness and adventure to have a family. Georgia is survived by her husband, Frank; two sons David and Patrick. Georgia with her Huntington's needed extra care love and support and the family would like to thank everyone that supported and contributed to her well-being and needs. There is more family and friends and others whose lives Georgia touched and will be mentioned in her Celebration of Life.
