Georgia Alma Cutler's Obituary
Georgia (Alma) Gregg (Cutler) was born June 20th 1919, in the small town of Quail, Texas to William Elsie Gregg and Georgia Lessie Gregg. She was the 4th born of 10 brothers and sisters. She was proceeded in death by 8 of her siblings; Tendol, Slick, Melton, Gary, Dixie, Thelma, Margie and Anita. She was also proceeded in death by her husband, Edward and her son Mike, my brother and her grandson, Nathan.
Mom migrated from Texas to California after she finished her sophomore year of High School and married Truett Hatley, my dad. Mike and I were born in Fresno, California. When I was 2, mom, Mike and I moved to Tacoma, Washington after divorcing my dad.
Most of her siblings moved here during WWII to work in the shipyards. Mom worked double shifts for over 20 years at South Portland Amusement in downtown Tacoma to provide a good living for our family.
She passed away November 26th 2018 at the age of 99. She is survived by son David, daughters-in-law Diane and Penny, grandchildren, Steve, Dustin, Derek, Marie and sister Wyvonna living in San Diego. She is also survived by many Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family meant everything to her. She lived a good, blessed life. May she rest in peace in the hands of the Lord.
