Georgia Ann Reed
Georgia A. Reed, 83, passed away on June 10, 2012 after a long illness. She retired after 22 years of Federal Civil Service. Employments include Quartermaster Laundry, Medical Appointments Clerk and a Medical Admin Clerk at Madigan Army Hospital, Ft. Lewis WA. She is a member Olympic Chapter #2 OES, Yemen Court #12 Daughters of Isis, and the Order of the Golden Circle. She is the widow of Alexander Reed, Sr. and is survived by four children, Virginia Queen (Herbert) of Glen Burnie MD, Dorothy Brown (Joseph) of Baltimore MD, Stella Bell (Arthur) Tacoma WA, and Alexander Reed, Jr. (Shawn) of Kent WA, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grand-children, 14 great-great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Viewing will be June 14, 2012 from 2-6 p.m. at Mountain View. At 7 p.m. The Order of the Golden Circle will conduct a ceremony in the Aspen Chapel, Mountain View Celebration of Life Center. Services and interment at St. Luke Baptist Church will be in Skipwith, VA.
