She was born in Lyon, France on February 27, 1927 to Italian parents, and moved with her parents to Italy when she was 11 years old. In August 1946 she was transported on a Red Cross ship as a war bride to America and on to Chicago where she had family relatives. Georgette had many interests, but her greatest was caring for and being with family. She had a special love for traveling in their RV to outdoor areas and parks and caring for her pets. Gourmet cooking was also a passion. After 58 years of marriage, Kenneth died in 2004. Georgette was a devoted mother and grandmother and a great friend to all who knew her. She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Sara) of Escondido, CA and Rick (Judi) of Port Angeles, WA, two grown grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. A private family gathering is planned to commemorate her life. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of choice. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
