George L Weymouth's Obituary
George L. Weymouth, beloved and loyal husband, proud and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on Feb. 1, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his father Charles, mother Lydia and brothers Bobby, Milton, Bill, Johnny, Dave, Paul and Richard.
George graduated from Puyallup High School and enlisted in the United States Navy and served as an Aircraft Electronics Technician.
After serving 4 years in the military, he went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad while also attending college at University of Puget Sound in Tacoma where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree. He then went to work for the Boeing company and had a career as a buyer of aircraft materials for 30 years.
George’s joys in life included master gardening, cruises with friends, watching and attending ball games and activities with his family, playing golf, camping and was an avid Seahawk, Mariners, Kraken and Sounders fan.
George enjoyed reading books and studying the Bible. He had a steady faith in God. He regularly attended church at Lighthouse Christian Center.
George is survived by his loving wife Carol who shared 57 years of marriage, his son Darren (wife Sandy, granddaughter Madison and grandson Hunter). Grandson Trevor, granddaughter Abbagail Pittman (husband Byron and great grandson, Isaiah) and granddaughter Sadyelyn. Son, Dennis Weymouth. Daughter Deanna Rink (grandson, Jonah Rink (wife Emily) and grandson Joel (Haley) as well as, his beloved canine companion, Murphee.
George always had a willingness to help others and accepted everyone. His humor, wit and intellect connected him instantly with everyone he met, allowing him to easily carry a conversation or laugh. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lighthouse Christian Center in Puyallup on Feb 28th at Noon.
