I am Frederick Johnson,I met George o/a 1950 at Prarie View A&M College. He and my brother was room mates, I would visit and bring a care package (food)about 3 times a semester. Home cooked food was well appreciated doing that time. He graduated, got married and went into service. Lost track until mid to late 60's..By having the same last name,at ST John Baptist Church, he and my wife guestion each other and found out that he knew me. Everyone from Texas with the same last name,you have to question. WE met again, been in touch every since. We always talked about home(TX)---He is a good man to no and I will miss him.

Mr. Johnson will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and our community. It was with a deep sorrow that I learned of his passing. He was a kind inspiration to so many. My prayers goes out to the Johnson Family.
I am deeply sadden over the passing of Mr. Johnson, he was a humble and wonderful man.
The Johnson's are like second parents to me. As a child my sister and I spent many days over their home and if we were not there Patrice was over our house.

Velma and family. I was saddened to hear of George's passing. It has been a pleasure knowing both of you in RPEC, Chp. 12. We've been to a couple of Conventions together and made our voices heard. I am so glad that you both were able to come to a meeting recently. It was so good to see you. George, you were indeed very kind and compassionate .
