Hello Geordie...I don't know if you remember me or my family from Ft. Leavenworth...your sister was my best friend, and I was wondering if she would like to catch up. I am so sorry to see that your father has passed...my condolences to you and your families. Wayne and Jennifer and myself laughed and laughed at the home movie of you falling off that horse, and my Dad replayed it backwards time and again. Colonel Tronsrue , it is i , Charlie six kilo on the battalion net. My interaction with our then Battalion commander was "wait one ,sir" while i put the six on. I saw Mr. Tronsrue flying and fighting from his LOH during the tet offensive , and I had the great pleasure of , i feel , becomming friends during and after our initial meeting at the 1st ID Society reunion in Chicago in 2007 (i believe that is the correct year). Really enjoyed reading the obituary and remembering all the places our two families lived together, starting with our Dad's assignments at West Point, where we lived next door to each other. I'm not sure if they knew each other when they attended West Point. Flori, do you know? Then we lived at Ft. Benning, Ft. Leavenworth, and northern Virginia together and had tons of fun whenever we got together. One of my best memories of Col. Tronsrue was all of us kids sitting at the top of the stairs listening to him sing and play the piano at our house when we were supposed to be in bed. Little bro, Mark, fell down the stairs, I went to rescue him while the rest of the kids raced back to bed. I got spanked, but it was worth it hearing your Dad singing. Didn't know he was in the glee club. I always thought of him as being very handsome!

Bill and I loved meeting George and Judith when we moved to Trilogy in 2010. Our meals and good times together will be sorely missed. Best wishes to all the family on your loss. He will live on in our memories.
