Mr. George J. Selner's Obituary
George was born on September 8, 1931 to Emery and Gertrude (Birk) Selner in St. Joseph County, Indiana. He graduated from Madison Township High School. After graduation he began his road construction for Reith Riley construction where he attained a supervisor position.
He served in the US Army from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War. He attained the rank of Master Sergeant.
Later on in the year 1955 he Married the love of his life Janet Rudduck on September 2, 1955, they had 58 wonderful and blessed years together.
George belonged to the Sumpton Prairie Methodist Church. George was an avid member of the Lion's Club, the Mason's and the Cancer Society. George loved to play golf and loved Notre Dame Sports. "GO IRISH". He also loved to fish.
George was a loving husband and father. He will be missed by all.
