GEORGE RITAMahalo 2-22-27 Â- Aloha 5-13-07George was born in Kalaheo, Kauai and came to Tacoma, WA in 1949 where he resided until his death. George was a U.S. Army-Air Force veteran of WW II. As a teenager living on Kauai, George witnessed first-hand the two waves of Japanese bombers as they headed to Pearl Harbor prompting him to lie about his age in order to serve his country during WWII.George retired from Schneider-Simpson Sheet Metal in 1996. George was the consummate caregiver to his wife Muriel to whom he was married for 33 years.George was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Martha Rita, his brother August and his two sisters Lavinia and Mary.George is survived by his loving wife Muriel A. Rita, his daughters Susan Anderson (Sam), Annie Smith (Steven), stepdaughter Maureen L. Ryan, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. George is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
