George Richard Marincin, Sr.'s Obituary
George was born in Tacoma on July 18, 1928 and died in Tacoma on November 3, 2009. He was a first generation American, born to immigrant parents from Czechoslovakia: Andrew and Anne who preceded him in death. He out lived all of his siblings Anne, Michael, Robert, Elizabeth and Clarence.
George married the love of his life Mabellene Lake on June 1st 1951. They had six children; one son and five girls. He always said he tried for one more boy. Sadly, they had to say goodbye to their oldest daughter Susan Ann who passed away on his 45th birthday.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife Mabellene and their children George R II -ËœRick' his wife Victoria, Sharon Wicken, Sallie and her partner Michael Blake, Shirley Scott and her husband Kevin and Sonja Angeline and her husband Scott. He loved all of his grandchildren Alishia (Ken), Michael, Abigail, Barbara, Jessica (Tony), Richard, Ryan, Riley, Courtney and Casey. He was thrilled to live long enough to know his four great-grandchildren; David, Haley, Kaleb and Erica. He was always the joker with the grandkids and enjoyed them whenever he could. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews who he enjoyed visiting with and loved them all.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Heartwood Extended Care Facility for the respectful and loving care they provided to our husband/father/grandfather during his final days. Graveside service Nov 14th 11:30 at Mt. View, memorial service at Good Shepherd Lutheran following at 1 pm.
